Evergreen Funding

At the end of the program, the women can either apply to Angels of Impact for investment or to other funders.

Funding

At the end of the program, the women can either apply to Angels of Impact for investment or to other funders. For Angels of Impact, rather than assessing using traditional credit estimates for communities that are systematically disadvantaged, we practice relationship-based lending where we evaluate entrepreneurs and their teams based on three main categories: community capital, social impact, and the potential to generate revenue that ultimately is shared with the community.

Our funding and customized capacity building is focused on investment readiness, with a path to sustainability and creditworthiness for future funding. That’s why our Evergreen fund reinvests repaid loans from enterprises that have received capacity building through our WISE accelerator. Since 2016, this approach has led to a 100% repayment rate.
