​Laina Greene

 Founder & CEO (May 2016-present)
Laina Greene has over three decades of experience in the tech industry and social impact space as consultant, entrepreneur, investor, mentor and educator. She has helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for organisations of all sizes. She also served  as Senior Advisor to Ashoka, as Associate Director of the Asia Center for Social Entrepreneurship & Philanthropy at the NUS Business School, as Advisor to Plus Acumen chapter in Singapore and currently teaches social entrepreneurship and Lean Startup at NUS Business School as Senior Adjunct Lecturer. She is also the co-author of a book “Sustainable Impact: How women are key to ending poverty” (2017) and two reports written for Angels of Impact funded by Oxfam and Sasakawa Peace Foundation and is a Harvard University Graduate.

Pia Bruce

Co-founder (May 2018-present)
Pia Bruce has spent most of the last decade working towards women’s empowerment and gender equality in Asia. As the Executive Director of the Singapore Committee for UN Women (formerly UNIFEM) for over eight years before taking on a Senior Advisor role (now known as United Women), she has been heavily involved in multiple initiatives that provide women and girls with access to education, economic independence and a life free of violence and abuse. Pia is also passionate about investing in women, and spending part of her time with Angels of Impact, supporting women-led social enterprises in the region.

Pavani Jandhyala

Business and Finance Development Manager
Pavani is a finance professional with diverse experience in planning & budgeting, pricing, and controls across the US, Middle East, and Asia. She has collaborated with C-suite on large corporate decisions, business unit executives on financial targets delivery, and with business unit managers on short term plans and decision support. She navigates complex global operations, managed senior stakeholders, and thrives in cross functional teams. Pavani has also worked with Acumen in India and her passion is social impact investing. 

Faith Awuor Agili
​Business and Impact Analyst

Faith graduated from Yale-NUS College with a major in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). Her academic background has prepared her to work in multiple disciplines and approach problem solving tasks creatively.  Faith personally views working at Angels of Impact being inspirational and an opportunity for growth. 

Dona Beverley Kannangara
Administrative Manager

Beverley is a missionary of 5 years and worked for Angels of Impact for year before she was inspired by the ladies of Angels of Impact, to be founder of Carpe Momentous where she enjoys meeting young people over conversations of passion and purpose. Bev is currently assisting a few social enterprises with administrative work and supporting us in the same.

Madison Lommen
Global Partnership and Team Manager

Madi is the founder and former director of Madibanani Bread Company. She is a lover of all things literary and currently exploring the systems that influence our stories. She is a graduate from  Yale-NUS College in Singapore​​ and has previously served as intern to Angels of Impact over a period of two years helping us with our research and social media messaging. She is now managing our ASEAN WISE Fellowship.

Parameswari Kunnasegaran

Parameswari is a graduate with a double major in Communication and Sociology from University of Buffalo. With her thirst for knowledge and a passion for social issues, she aims to be part of our society's progress in life. As a long-standing gender advocate and a budding sociologist, she looks forward to applying her skills to the work of Angels of Impact.

Manka Bajaj

Manka is a Bachelors in Economics, along with a minor in Mathematical, Computational and Statistical Sciences student from Yale-NUS College. Her experiences have provided her with knowledge in finance, corporate banking and  various type of client industries. Her main interest in joining Angel of Impacts, is to  make contribution to the society. She would like to support other woman and make  contribution in ending the poverty. ​

Chua Hui Min
Intern

Hui Min is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a double degree in Business Management and Economics at
Singapore Management University. She is passionate in making a difference at a systemic level, and I strongly believe that there is no better way than impact investing – where it is not just about the issuance of funds, but in recognising and empowering enterprising
individuals to attain self-sustenance.

Vivek Sharma

Senior Advisor
Vivek is passionate about the empowerment of women, underprivileged and disabled through education and sustainable investment. Governance, strategy, general management and consulting is his forte. Leveraging 15 years of executive experience in bulge bracket banks, he serves on non-profit boards and advises pro-bono to NGOs and social enterprises. Vivek is a Director at Credit Suisse and Governing Council Member of Oxfam.

Jaspal Sidhu

Senior Advisor
 Jaspal is the Founder and Chairman of the SIS Group of Schools. The SIS Group is Indonesia's largest chain of quality private K-12 schools with multiple price points on its tuition fees, so as to make quality education accessible at different income levels. The Group has schools in Myanmar, India and South Korea and is in strategic partnership with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank) to expand its operations both in Indonesia and other countries. In 2019, the SIS Group of Schools was awarded the Financial Times-IFC (World Bank) Global Education Award for its transformational work across geographies. 

Esther Park
​Senior Advisor

​Esther is the CEO of Cienega Capital, a regenerative investment firm utilizing an integrated capital approach to systemic change in the areas of soil health, regenerative agriculture, and local food systems.  Cienega Capital is also part of the #NoRegrets Initiative, a regenerative asset strategy focused on the health of agricultural soils and agricultural communities of North America. Esther has 20 years of experience in mission-based financial services ranging from microfinance to risk capital investments, in partnership with financial institutions, family offices, foundations, and investment advisors.  She also serves as a Board member at Custom Food Solutions, Carman Ranch Provisions, Eden Cider, Civil Eats, and Grassfed Alliance.

Joshua Sheridan Fouts
Senior Advisor

Joshua is a globally recognized media innovator and social entrepreneur known for his visionary work paving new inroads for meaningful understanding between cultures. He began his career in Washington, DC in the 1990s where he worked at the US State Department and began to experiment with new ways to use radio, television and Internet technology for cultural collaboration. He went on to launch two first-of-their-kind think tanks focused on digital media innovation and cultural relations at the USC Annenberg School in Los Angeles. ​Joshua has worked in over 20 countries and most recently, he served for 5 years as Executive Director of Bioneers, a 25-year-old NGO focused on practical solutions for people and planet and is currently part of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship Cohort 6.

Leslie Lindo
Senior Advisor

Leslie has over the last 6 years,  focused on identifying and advancing solutions to address the wealth disparities in economically marginalized communities. She is a portfolio manager for Candide Group managing investments for the Olamina Fund, which is a $40M loan fund focused on racial and economic justice in the Deep South, Rural America, and Indian Country. In her previous role as VP of Strategic Partnerships at Common Future (formerly BALLE), Leslie brought together diverse stakeholders around decolonizing access to capital, racial equity and impact investing, equitable financing tools, democratic governance and financial structures, integrated entrepreneurial ecosystems, and shared ownership of land, housing, and businesses. She has proudly served on executive committees for multiple boards, including The Green Chamber of Greater Phoenix, USGBC Arizona Chapter, and Oakland Grown, and currently serves as board co-chair for the New Economy Coalition.

Vanessa Roanhorse
​Senior Advisor

Vanessa launched Roanhorse Consulting (RCLLC) in 2016, an indigenous women-led think tank. RCLLC works with unheralded communities, businesses, organizations, and individuals and co-designs wealth and power building efforts that directly invest in our leaders, support meaningful data collection informed by indigenous research approaches and helps build thoughtful community-led projects that enforce values that put people at the center. Vanessa is a 2020 Boston Impact Initiative Fund Building Cohort Fellow among many awards and achievements.  She sits on the boards of Native Community Capital, Zebras Unite, and the New Mexico Association of Grantmakers and is a co-founder of Native Women Lead. Vanessa is a citizen of the Navajo Nation.

Teresa Tepania Ashton
​Senior Advisor

After a 12 year career working internationally with Citibank (during which time she rose from Service Assistant to Vice President) she put her decades of community and corporate governance experience to work for her people. Teresa was the CEO of Te Rūnanga-a-Iwi o Ngāpuhi from 2004 – 2011.  Today she is CEO of Māori Women’s Development Incorporated – an inspirational and incredibly well-resourced organisation that provides loans and wrap around support for Wāhine Māori in business, and their whānau. ​​With credibility in hapū and iwi development, Reo Māori development, and governance across all sectors.  She is truly a contemporary wahine Māori leader.

Johann Wong, CFA
​Senior Advisor

​Johann is passionate about exploring and applying greenOceans thinking towards a newNormal.  How do we reImagine, reFrame and reBalance our CSR, ESG and SDG impact realities in order to co-create a newNormal?  How do we create collaborative experiential blended learning that fosters human innovation?  He is driven by the vision of advancing prosperity by fostering cultures of sustainable human innovation.  Special attention is made toward being an ally of BIWOC – black indigenous women of color.  Throughout his career, Mr. Wong has been an officer, director and founder of several investment and financial advisory firms, private investment hedge funds, hedge fund of funds and private and public companies and new ventures associated with global enterprises and entrepreneurs.  Current initiatives include BaumanWellness.com and CharacterYAQ.com, through his firm, JouleWatt.com

Mita Natarajan
​Senior Advisor

Mita is Chief Business Development Officer at Ayondo. She was previously Senior Vice President, Head of Services, Equities & Fixed Income at the Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) and responsible for the ownership and management of post-listings businesses offered to all SGX's listed companies. During her time at SGX, she has also managed the organization's strategy, business development and M&A portfolios.
​Prior to joining SGX, Ms Natarajan was part of the founding management team at a technology start- up in Silicon Valley, California. Her career also includes sales and marketing roles with global corporations in Asia and the U.S and functional responsibilities for the development and launch of new products and services. Ms. Natarajan holds a Master's Degree from Harvard University, USA.

Jaime Gloshay
Senior Advisor

Jaime is a Co-Founder of Native Women Lead and supports key efforts in partnership development, advancement, program design, evaluation, and policy. She is a 2020 Boston Impact Initiative fellow and was appointed in 2019 by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to serve as a Commissioner of the State Complete Count Commission where she serves as Chair of the Tribal subcommittee among many other achievements. Jaime is also a Program Manager at Roanhorse Consulting (RCLLC) and before joining RCLLC, she was a Community Loan Officer at Accion- New Mexico, establishing their Native lending program.  She is a citizen of the Navajo, White Mountain Apache, and Kiowa Nations

Maneet Arora

Maneet is inspired by the Angels’ focus on empowering women-led social enterprises and helping local communities. She is a firm believer that the corporate sector will pivot more of its considerable talent and volunteering hours  toward skills-based volunteering. She is a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank with a career spanning 20+ years and various roles in the Trading and Risk management functions.

Marc Landorf

Marc is the Manager, Business Planning and Projects of DKSH Healthcare. He has been a long time volunteer of Angels of Impact since as an intern from NUS Business School. Marc was instrumental in helping Angels of Impact with the Oxfam report and with the project proposal to Sasakawa Peace Foundation. He is now assisting us with further research and outreach.

Ankita Panda

Adaptive and innovative MSc Management graduate with proven leadership capabilities and communication skills, able to establish rapport quickly and build strong ties. Independent and self-motivated individual with a strong background in human resources, marketing, communications and project management.

Akanksha Madan

Akanksha is a second-year student at Yale-NUS College, who is passionate about resolving gender inequity and interested in the intersection of finance and social impact. She is confident that the combination of her hunger to learn, finance-related work experience, and project management skills will be valuable in fulfilling her responsibilities for the work of Angels of Impact.

Kenisha Alicia (Alice)

As a second-year at Yale-NUS College planning to major in Global Affairs, Alice is passionate about community capacity building. She has had experiences with the Indonesian bureaucracy, student activism, the media industry, social media management, and working with non-governmental organizations. Over the past months, she worked as a research assistant in political science.

Julia Eubanks

Julia is studying Diplomacy and World Affairs and Comparative Studies in Literature and Culture double major at Occidental College.  Her experience is in community engagement, writing, communications, and marketing. She has extensive knowledge of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

Mutiah Humaira

My experiences have provided me with knowledge in finance, corporate banking and  various type of client industries. My main interest in joining Angel of Impacts, as I want to  make contribution to the society. I would like to support other woman and make  contribution in ending the poverty. ​

Christal Tang

Currently pursuing a double-degree programme in Business Administration and Communications and New Media. Growing up, she has always believed in empowering and uplifting less privileged communities around the world, and it has brought her on many community service and volunteering projects locally and around the region.

Anna Kanze Hamilton

Anna Kanze Hamilton is an impact investment professional with over 15 years’ financial analysis, governance, investor relations, and impact and portfolio management experience. Anna has experience on the boards of for profit and non profit funds and companies, providing guidance on strategy, performance management, balancing resources to achieve social, environmental and financial objectives, and ensuring accountability for results.
